HOW IT WORKS
Feel free to BYOB or wine to your workshop; however all guests MUST BE 18 years of age or older.
IN STUDIO PARTIES
Private parties may start anytime between 4-6pm Thursday & Friday, Saturday 11am-6pm. If you would like to have a party outside of our normal hours (hours listed above), please contact the owner, LeAnn Richards at 717-942-5829 or hammerandstainshrewsbury@gmail.com.
Please select the studio party option and write your requested date in the personalization box. We will contact you shortly to discuss availability.
You MUST have a minimum of 6 guests {including yourself} register for the event in order to have private access to our space. If you do not get 6 guests {including yourself} registered by the deadline (7 days prior to event), you are more than welcome to continue with your party however, we will open as our regular open paint hours and will reserve a table for your party.
We can comfortably host up to 18 people in our studio! If you have more than 18, please consider booking an Off-Site party with us!
OFF SITE PARTIES
There will be a $50.00 charge for off-site parties. Mobile fees will be invoiced once party is booked. If you don't want the fee, please feel free to book a party in studio!We want to make sure that you get our full attention and energy for your party so we only schedule one party a day. Parties on Thursday & Friday's start between 4-6pm, and Saturdays 11am-6pm. Please select the off-site party option and write your requested date in the personalization box. We will contact you shortly to discuss availability.
We will travel up to 20 miles from our Shrewsbury, PA studio location with a $40.00 add on fee for locations between 20-60 miles. Parties can be held either inside or outside at your desired location. We provide all equipment and materials, you'll just need to provide the space, tables, chairs, and trash bins!
You MUST have a minimum of 15 guests {including yourself} register for the event. If you do not get 15 guests {including yourself} registered by the deadline (7 days prior to event), your event will be cancelled or rescheduled.
If your party needs to be cancelled:
- With no registrations prior to the registration cut-off (7 days prior to your event), full refund of your $50 off-site charge.
- With registrations prior to the registration cut-off (7 days prior to your event), you will get 50% of your off-site charge back ($25) due to us having to make other plans with the participants who registered to complete their projects.
- If you choose to cancel after the registration cut-off because of low participation/registrations, there is no refund of your $50 off-site charge.
- If you choose to reschedule your event after the registration cut-off because of low participation/registrations, we will transfer your $50 off-site charge ONE TIME to a new date. If we reschedule more than once, a new $50 off-site charge will be charged.
BUSINESS/CHURCH/ORGANIZATION PRIVATE PARTIES
Looking for the perfect team building, work night out, church gathering? We are here for you too! We are available for both in studio and off-site parties but want to accommodate the specific needs of group events. Project options range from $30-40 and include 10-20 different design options plus all the great color choices as a regular party!

Once you have registered, our workshop coordinator will contact you to go over project choices and set up your exclusive party link.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy
Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production for your project.
Due to the customization of our workshops, there are NO REFUNDS. However, if you cancel with at least 48 hours notice, your project can be turned into a to go kit to be completed at home. You may also be able to complete your project at an open paint session. Projects will only be held for 30 days from the original workshop date. Please private message us on Facebook or email us hammerandstainshrewsbury@gmail.com for any questions on attendance.
Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.
Guest Policy
Guest Policy
Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered
guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public
workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to
approval.
By completing registration you are agreeing to these terms.
Wood
Wood
This is a natural wood workshop, so your sign will have random cracks,
chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees. Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be wall worthy!
