Frequently Asked Questions About Kids' Parties
Our children’s birthday parties are designed for kids ages 6 through 16, with project options available to match a variety of ages and interests.
Younger children, typically ages 6 to 11, often enjoy our ceramic and critter-style projects, while tweens and teens may prefer painting wood signs, framed art, and more detailed creative projects.
Our instructor adjusts the level of guidance and instruction based on the age and needs of each group, helping every child feel comfortable, supported, and confident throughout the creative process.
No previous art or crafting experience is needed—just a willingness to have fun and get creative!
Children’s birthday parties must be booked at least 3 weeks in advance. If you have a specific date in mind, we strongly recommend booking 6 to 8 weeks ahead, as preferred party dates can fill quickly.
This advance notice gives our team time to plan and prepare everything needed for your celebration, including the materials, supplies, and custom project components for each guest.
Once your party is booked, all guests must complete their registration at least 7 days before the event date. This allows us to finalize project selections and have everything prepared and ready for your group when the celebration begins.
The earlier you book, the better your chances of securing your preferred date and giving yourself plenty of time to invite your guests!
In-studio children’s birthday parties require a minimum of 6 kids and can accommodate up to 18 participants, making them a great fit for both smaller friend groups and larger celebrations.
Have a group larger than 18? Reach out to us to discuss your options! An off-site or mobile workshop may be a better fit for larger groups and gatherings.
Off-site events require a minimum of 15 participants, and a mobile workshop fee applies.
No matter the size of your group, we’re happy to help you find the best way to bring a creative celebration to your child and their guests!
The birthday child’s parents—or 2 to 3 designated adults—are required to remain at the studio during the party. However, parents of guests ages 8 and up are welcome to drop off their children and enjoy some time to themselves while we handle the creative fun inside the studio.
Our instructor guides the group step-by-step through the entire project, ensuring every child receives instruction, support, and encouragement throughout the experience. All materials, tools, and cleanup are handled by us.
Guest parents can return at the end of the party to a happy group of kids, each holding a handmade project they created themselves—and they never had to touch a paintbrush or a trash bag!
Absolutely! You are welcome to bring a birthday cake, snacks, and drinks to enjoy during the party. We want your child’s event to feel like a true birthday celebration—not just a craft class.
We ask that you coordinate with us ahead of time so we can help plan the timing for food and cake around the creative project and party activities.
For adult guests who remain at the party, our studio is also BYOB-friendly for those of legal drinking age. Parents and designated adults are welcome to relax and enjoy the celebration while the kids get creative.
Bring the cake, bring the snacks, and let us handle the creative fun and cleanup!
Pricing for children’s birthday parties varies depending on the project your group chooses. Most kid-focused projects typically range from $35 to $50 per child, while larger or more detailed projects may fall at a higher price point.
We recommend browsing our current birthday party packages to explore available project options and pricing so you can choose an experience that fits your group and budget.
