There is something so beautiful about light shining through color, texture, and glass-inspired details — and for this special evening, every piece created will help support a meaningful cause in our community. 💕
Join us for Beautifully Broken, Beautifully Strong | a Faux Stained Glass and Crushed Glass Sun Catcher Experience. During this creative evening, you'll create a special breast cancer awareness piece created just for this fundraiser.
During the experience, we’ll guide you through bringing your selected design to life using resin, mica powders, crushed glass, dyes, and other beautiful glass-inspired materials. You’ll have the freedom to choose your own colors and finishes, making your piece uniquely yours.
Whether you create this in honor of someone you love or create it as something that is beautiful, this evening is all about creating something meaningful while giving back.
20% of all proceeds from this workshop will go to Pink Power - a local York, PA organization that raises money and awareness for local breast cancer patients in need and brings people together to celebrate survivors and share stories of hope.
All outlines will be black. Projects are approximately 10.5" in height.
ℹ️ Because we’ll be working with resin, we recommend leaving your finished piece at the studio overnight to fully set and cure before taking it home. Pieces can be picked up from the studio once they are ready.
Once finished, these pieces are especially beautiful displayed in a favorite window, where the sunlight can shine through and bring all of those colors and textures to life. ☀️

Pre-registration is required.
*This workshop is for adults only (18+). 1 Person per project (2 people CAN NOT work on the same project). Resin DOES NOT come out of clothes. We will provide you with aprons and gloves, but it is not recommended wearing your favorite outfit.
***PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR THIS WORKSHOP! Please email us (hammerandstainshrewsbury@gmail.com) to let us know if you can't attend. If you do not show up for a workshop that you have a spot reserved at without letting us know you are not coming, you forfeit your payment and your project.

Cancellation Policy

Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production for your project.
Due to the customization of our workshops, there are NO REFUNDS. However, if you cancel with at least 48 hours notice, your project can be turned into a to go kit to be completed at home. You may also be able to complete your project at an open paint session. Projects will only be held for 30 days from the original workshop date. Please private message us on Facebook or email us hammerandstainshrewsbury@gmail.com for any questions on attendance.
Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered
guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public
workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to
approval.

This is a natural wood workshop, so your sign will have random cracks,
chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees. Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be wall worthy!
