This workshop includes: A Critter (one of our 16" critters) of the child's choice (must choose when registering). They will get to make a beaded collar for their new animal and fill out an adoption certificate. They will get a drawstring Hammer & Friends backpack to color to carry their new animal home. YOU WILL PICK THE ANIMAL WHEN YOU ARRIVE. 

Age Groups: This workshop is for kids entering preschool - grade 5. Tables will be broken up by age groups (unless requested otherwise).  This can be a drop-off event for children 8+.

Food & Beverage: Kids are encouraged to bring a water bottle.

HOW TO RESERVE YOUR SEAT:

  3. If you are coming with a group, we encourage you all to register at the same time! 

Cancellation Policy: Once a booking is made, a process begins. We DO NOT offer refunds. We have the following options in place:

  1. Cancellation of the workshop with 1 weeks notice or more, we will provide you with a credit for the amount paid to be used towards another Hammer Kids Workshop. This can ONLY be used for another Hammer Kids Workshop before December 31, 2026. 
  2. Cancellation within one week or less of the workshop date, we will provide you with date options to reschedule the workshop projects that are being made in the original workshop. The child may come in with ONE parent (at no additional charge) during an Open Paint to complete the projects. Projects must be completed by August 31, 2026 or they are forfeited. It is your responsibility to let us know when you'd like to come in. Open Paints are found on our calendar (on the home page of our website). 

Safety Measures: 

  1. Please be sure to list all adults allowed to pick up your child.  If a change occurs, please email us or send a note in. 
  2. Cell phone use will be discouraged during the camp.  Campers of course can have it with them, but we ask that it stays in their bag or away so it does not cause a disruption with other campers. 
  3. Crafts can be messy, please dress accordingly. We recommend long hair be put up.

How to Register

  1. Choose your project and design options from the drop down menu.
  2. If applicable include any relevant personal information needed to complete your stencil such as name or date.
  3. Confirm and Agree to our policies and terms.
  4. Add to Cart and checkout.

Cancellation Policy

Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production for your project.

Due to the customization of our workshops, there are NO REFUNDS. However, if you cancel with at least 48 hours notice, your project can be turned into a to go kit to be completed at home. You may also be able to complete your project at an open paint session. Projects will only be held for 30 days from the original workshop date.  Please private message us on Facebook or email us hammerandstainshrewsbury@gmail.com for any questions on attendance.

Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Guest Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered
guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public
workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to
approval.

Wood

This is a natural wood workshop, so your sign will have random cracks,
chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees. Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be wall worthy!
