Join us for Loop & Light: A Cozy Workshop - - A Cozy Knit Blanket & Candle Making Workshop

You’ll hand-knit your very own chunky blanket using plush chenille yarn — no needles required! Choose up to three colors. Each guest receives 140 yards of yarn, enough to create a blanket approximately 40” x 60” (size varies based on knitting style).

This experience is beginner-friendly.

If you do not show up for a workshop that you have a spot reserved at without letting us know you are not coming, you forfeit your payment and your project.

Inclement Weather Policy
At Hammer & Stain Shrewsbury, the safety of our makers, guests, and staff is our top priority. As a DIY workshop that hosts public and private classes, we understand that winter storms and other severe weather conditions may affect our scheduled events. Please review our policy below.

Class Cancellation & Rescheduling

If it is deemed unsafe for makers or staff to travel to the studio, the class will be cancelled and rescheduled for a future date.
In the event of a cancellation, customers will be notified via email or text. (No phone calls will be made.) Please make sure to use an often checked email address or phone number when registering.
It is the responsibility of the maker to check their email for updates related to the rescheduled class date and time.
We do not offer refunds due to inclement weather.

Options for Rescheduled Classes

If you are unable to attend the rescheduled class, you may choose to complete your project during an open paint session. Please contact us to schedule a time within our available hours.
No refunds will be given if you choose not to attend the rescheduled class or complete your project during an open session.

Cancellation Policy

Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production for your project.

Due to the customization of our workshops, there are NO REFUNDS. However, if you cancel with at least 48 hours notice, your project can be turned into a to go kit to be completed at home. You may also be able to complete your project at an open paint session. Projects will only be held for 30 days from the original workshop date. Please private message us on Facebook or email us hammerandstainshrewsbury@gmail.com for any questions on attendance.

Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Guest Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered
guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public
workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to
approval.

By completing registration you are agreeing to these terms.

Wood

This is a natural wood workshop, so your sign will have random cracks,
chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees. Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be wall worthy!
